Did you know?

In the heart of the village, with its façade pierced by 3 bells, the church is a simple reminder of the devotion accorded to the parish’s patron saint, Saint Peter, whose statue it houses.

Our advice? Pay close attention to the architectural sights around you! On your stroll, you might spot an old ” haunted ” house, dear to the hearts of the Lacourtois…

The village’s history began in the 11th century.

On the bangs of the vast Agre forest, clearing work carried out by the Montauriol abbey led to the construction of two churches. Saint-Pierre and Saint-Martial.

Both churches were destroyed during the Wars of Religion, and Saint-Pierre was rebuilt in the following century.
