Mister Freeze in Hall 82

Discover Mister Freeze, a collective of artists committed since 2013 to making contemporary and urban art accessible to all. Their aim is to create encounters between the public and artists from all horizons. Set out to discover major recognized artists and emerging national and international artists who will plunge you into their world through a variety of techniques. From canvases and murals to imposing installations with multiple messages, these passionate artists are committed to sharing and transmitting. They are also committed to awareness-raising and discovery, training young talent and introducing art to people of all ages. The team and volunteers sum up their values in this phrase:

For its 10th edition, Mister Freeze has designed a unique exhibition festival. Attend 5 dates on 5 sites, and pass through the 5 Levels in Montauban, Toulouse and Perpignan. Montauban has the honor of opening this festival, a first date, a first Level and already an exceptional exhibition: that of international artist Jace. Let yourself be carried away by the Tchernobyl exhibition, a tribute exhibition that you can discover with his humorous character: “le gouzou”. It’s a unique immersive experience. Through this exhibition, Jace wanted to pass on the nuclear disaster of April 26, 1986, which marked him for life. In fact, he was the first street-art artist to paint on site. In addition to the exhibition, don’t miss the works of Enaura and Jean-Miche Ouvry, which will complete your experience.

Choose from self-guided or guided tours, and take part in events to make the experience even more immersive. Graffiti initiation, skateboarding initiation or demonstrations, the possibilities are endless. Mister Freeze invites you to come alone, with friends or family, to discover or rediscover urban and contemporary art. Children are welcome to take part in the workshops: lettering from 6 years old, initiation to spray painting from 10 years old, and there’s no age limit – you’re all welcome!
