The Pécou Dragée

While the basic recipe has remained unchanged for over a century (pure sugar with a Sicilian Avola fine at its heart), Pécou has reinvented itself and expanded its range of delicacies.

a historical candy

History

This little black ball, known as Boulet de Montauban, is a delicacy that has captured the hearts of the Montalbanais.

This chocolate-covered, roasted hazelnut was created by Maison Pécou to commemorate the historical episode from which the legend of the 400 coups is drawn.

Les Bonbons Flingueurs

In homage to the film “Les Tontons Flingueurs“, enjoy delicious roasted hazelnuts with a crunchy coating of acacia gum and milk chocolate, in boxes bearing the effigy of the actors. A real mouthful!

The Mountalbane

Born of a happy coincidence, the “Mountalbane ” bears the pretty feminized name of the town, meaning Mont Blanc, “Mountalba” in Occitan. This moist, fragrant cake, a cross between cake, pound cake and brioche, will surprise your taste buds with its aromas of orange blossom, vanilla and rum.

Wrapped in hand-pleated paper, it’s filled with whole eggs, butter and caramelized candied fruit.

Le Montauriol

This delicious chocolate bonbon combines local cherries and Armagnac.

The chocolatiers named it after the sacred hill of Montauriol, the origin of the town of Montauban.

You can find this bonbon in winter at chocolatier Alliot, which has been awarded the Tablette d’Or at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris two years running.
