Isra'a lives with her husband Ahmed and three children in the old port of the city of Aden, southern Yemen. Their daily lives are punctuated by the effects of the civil war: military controls in the streets, frequent power outages, and water rationing. Ahmed, who worked for television, had to leave his job following numerous unpaid salaries, to become a driver. They barely have enough to give their children a normal life and a good education. When Isra'a learns that she is pregnant again, the couple must face a new crisis. They both know they can't afford a fourth child, especially since they have to move to cheaper accommodation and pay school fees. Together, they decide to abort. Perhaps a doctor friend will help them…
A session hosted by the Rosa Bonheur association, as part of the Cinema and Human Rights festival.
