CONCOURS CALLIGRAMMES

After a short escape, Confluences and the Mémo media library are delighted to offer you a poetic competition as part of the 27th edition of the Spring of Poets, which this year revolves around the theme Volcanic poetry.

This time it will be a question of formatting a poem in the style of Apollinaire: in calligram! The ideal support for bringing out verses and expressing inner turmoil. This new poetic playground will also be an opportunity to let your creativity and your daring speak because, visually, you will have carte blanche: manuscript, digital, color, black-and-white, collages... Everything is possible. The lexical field of volcanism is rich, there is something to say and illustrate.

To participate, nothing could be simpler:
– Choose a poem, from the author of your choice or written by you, which echoes the theme Volcanic poetry
– Transpose this poem in the form of a calligram
– Send your creation – remembering to attach the typed poem, including its title and author – via the participation form

Some dates to remember:
– Closing date for entries: Sunday February 23 at midnight
– Internet users’ votes: Internet users will have from Monday February 24 until Monday March 3 at noon to vote for their favorite works on the Confluences website
– Announcement of the winners on this site and award ceremony (Internet users and jury prizes): Wednesday March 5 at the Mémo
