Taking its source in northern Tibet, the Mekong, the mythical river of Asia, continues its long descent of approximately 4,900 km to Vietnam before flowing into the China Sea. This documentary presents the life of local populations living in the six countries crossed by the river. Director Philippe JACQ and his partner Maricris have only one objective: to meet these “people of the Mekong” to take the time to better discover them, to enrich themselves with their culture and their gentle way...
