Exhibition - The ideal Expo

In 2018, Hervé Tullet designed the ideal Expo, a participatory & collaborative project based on a catalog of shapes, colors and patterns made available by the artist which everyone will use to create their own work.

Italy, Canada, United States, Japan… the ideal Expo is set up in museums, media libraries, art centers – and even in shoeboxes, during confinement!

The ideal Expo is a collective energy, a unifying creative gesture. Volume play, shadow play, crumpled paper techniques, “organized scribbles”… everything is there to lead our eyes to appreciate art differently.

Offered all over the planet, the ideal Expo had to find its Made in Mémo version!

Hervé Tullet:
Author of more than 75 books, Hervé Tullet is a key creator on the international art scene. He invents his own catalog of basic shapes to which he adds vibrant colors offering unique and peppy works.
