La maison du crieur

La Maison du Crieur

Cultural, Exhibition gallery in Montauban
  • 2 rue Gillaque is an 18th century building retaining some beautiful older remains, notably a 15th century turret and a 17th century gallery.

  • Many Montalbanais know it for the enigmatic head which adorns one of the angles and which seems to cry out. The town wanted to keep the room on the ground floor and baptized it the House of the town crier.
An exhibition space open to all.

Every Saturday at 11:44 am (referring to the founding date of the city in 1144), the "town crier" reads aloud the city's cultural program.
Come and attend the "Saturday auction".

    On request, the puzzle box.
