Every spring, throughout France and Europe, the Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art® (JEMA) offer thousands of events during a festive week dedicated to craftsmanship and exceptional know-how. From March 31 to April 6, 2025, the 19th edition of JEMA® will be held under the theme “Traits d’union”. In 2025, the public and professionals alike will be celebrating the importance of exceptional crafts and know-how, which are true “Traits d’union”, uniting territories and strengthening local ties. Artisans forge links with a multitude of worlds and players: architects, designers, local authorities, cultural establishments, associations, foundations, project developers… They collaborate not only with each other, but also with the worlds of live performance, music, fashion, gastronomy and many other sectors. Acting as a bridge between tradition and innovation, between generations, between people and materials, they are also essential to the maintenance of certain production sectors, such as linen, straw or wicker, thus guaranteeing the continuity of unique and sustainable know-how.
