The Jardin des Plantes

With its remarkable trees. This 3-hectare arboretum offers freshness and tranquility in the heart of the town. Ideal for relaxing with a good book, taking a siesta on the banks of the Tescou or simply strolling in the shade of the giant sequoias.

The majestic Cours Foucault

The dean of Montalban’s public gardens, the Cours Foucault is a 5-hectare wooded garden. The Tarn at the bottom of the park is a breath of fresh air during the heatwave.

In the cool of the morning in the countryside, there’s nothing better than treading our footpaths. The Greater Montauban area is home to a number of them, between plains and hillsides. Orchard fields, wooded hillsides, small streams… the landscapes are varied.

In Escatalens, a 3 km walking circuit around and through this charming village invites you to discover 16 pigeon lofts, witnesses of the rich agricultural heritage. Square, rectangular, proudly displaying their bell towers…

One of the largest in Europe, just a stone’s throw from Montauban town center. Its Olympic-size pool will delight sports enthusiasts and tourists in search of a refreshing dip. The fun pools and pentagliss will entertain the youngest visitors.

Ardus beach

A different atmosphere at Lamothe Capdeville beach, 10 minutes from Montauban. It offers an idyllic natural setting for swimming in the Aveyron river and enjoying a picnic on a sandy beach.

The Wampark

Temperature rising? Head for the Bressols leisure center for a session of water skiing! A family fun zone equipped with a ski lift. Wam Park also offers paddleboarding and wakeboarding.

Waterfront leisure facilities at Port Canal. Located 15 minutes from downtown Montauban, Port Canal is a breath of fresh air and a soothing place to moor pleasure boats.

Classified as one of the most beautiful squares in France, with its beautiful brick facades and double row of cutlery. With its multi-faceted water mirror, it refreshes the space with various sequences (mist, water jets and mirror). A cool spot that lowers the air temperature by a few degrees, allowing you to discover this historic setting.
